Adding the extension makes it very hard for your dog to back out of the harness.

It's very simple, the Extension comes with a pin setup and a g-hook on the belly that are ready to connect to your Canyon Light harness.

While they can connect together, it would be sub-optimal as the buckles look different. Also, on the Medium size, the width of the straps is different on the Light vs the Pro.
